UPDATE – #Mauritania activist blogger Mohamed Abdou released

UPDATE: Mohamed Abdou has been released. The news was confirmed by friends.
A member of the 25 February movement, medical student Mohamed Abdou, was arrested after an altercation with a court official in Nouakchott today when he objected to the postponement of a scheduled court hearing.

Activist from the movement have condemned Mohamed’s arrest and are demanding his immediate release.
