The casualty figures from Iran Earthquake continue to rise.
Iran state media revised quake toll down to 227 dead, 1,380 hurt, but true figure thought to be much higher, due to unreported deaths and speedy burials.
12 villages in Varzeghan with population of about 1000 have been completely destroyed by the Earthquake.

Fars news reported 40 aftershocks jolted East Azerbaijan.
In city of Harees in N.W. Iran 125 people were killed & 280 were injured. 40 villages around Harees sustained 70% to 100% damage. Abbas Falahi, MP for Ahar and Harees, said people in some villages were still “in dire need of food and drinking water.”
By early afternoon on Sunday, state television was reporting that search operations had ceased.
